As the project is beginning to take shape, I’ll have to decide which poor site (or their players) will have to suffer under my 1000days cleaning at the poker tables.
In my search for the optimal site (and it HAS to be optimal if I have to reach my goal in time), I have a few criterias:
- The site can’t be too small - 4 tables available at the stakes, I will play, is minimum, as there will be played some serious poker at peak hours.
- Softness - Fishes as if you were diving outside Australias east coast will ofcourse make my journey less bumpy, as becomming a constant winning shark is crucial and will become easier.
- Good handhistory functionality - As I want you to be able to keep track of every step, I will ofcourse post all the funny, difficult, and really bad beat hands.
- Rake/Rakeback - a small calculation will hopefully underline the importance of a rakeback deal to the success of the project:
2 hours of play, at
2/4$NL, at
4 tables at a time, at a standard
30% rakeback deal
= estimate of 22$ rakeback/day = 22.000$ rakeback within1000days!
What won’t be as big a priority is:
- Software aesthetics/design - As I will probably be playing a lot, it would ofcourse become a problem if the software looked like TJ Cloutiers ass, but im convinced that you can get used to a lot of different desigs and other details in the softwares available.
The criterias above ofcourse rule out some sites, and as I get closer to the pick, I will come up with my thoughts on some of the rooms outthere!
