Weekly update and a 2000kr/400$ live tournament

Due to a weekend in the name of live poker, the weekly update is a day late, but better late than never right?!

There was time for small online sessions in name of the project, but beer and serious poker is rarely a winner-combo:) But the weekend was a lot of fun anyway and i think I broke even in the home game gainst some tough friends of mine (I really don’t hope they read this!)

Sunday I had to play a 400$ buyin live tournament for a poker team called Team Ace (it’s in danish - sry) that I qualified for through a series of small tournaments in the fall. As the home game went on until 6 in the morning, I arrived at Casino Marienlyst 30 min late, but who cares as I flopped a str8 after limping w. 84 on the button (yes I played a little tilted, as I was a little irritated after waiting for a taxi in 30 min.:-). The hand after I was caught bluffing the turn as I was down to 4 outs with AT against a set on a 78J8 board - river was a beautiful 9 and my move was suddenly the best ever! Unfortunately the luck didnt continue and I saw myself entering the final table shortstacked. I finaly busted in 7. place after being victim of suckout when I called an allin with 88 against A3 - flop gave my opponent the first 3 and river completed the set - CRAP:-)

On the bright side I think the tournament gave me some valuable experience as regarding to tournament play, and made me want to try it more.

PS. I just won 800w$ on Stars from 8$ I had on stars from long ago, through a 8$ satelite, through a 100$ where I finaly made it to the top 15 that cashed the 800. Now I just need your suggestions on what to spend the 800 on so storm your brain - is it Sunday Million, one big qualifier for EPT Copenhagen - let me hear your voice!

    First of all - ty for the comments, second - Lol, you got a point Mikael. I’ll consider it strongly, even though it cannot count against the within1000days-project as the winning came from my 8$ at stars which wasnt a part of the 1000$ SB.

    The $ are still running fluidly towards MY br yes - I just hope it continues. Regarding the withdrawal-question, the answer is no - as tempting as it might be, I have to keep my hands off the br as I need the exponential growth to ever reach the goal in time.
