A few crazy hands…

4 Mar, 2008 hand-example, poker-reviews, update

I’m playing the poker of my life right now - I make the right decissions at the right moments and I catch good starting hands. The sign up at Pokersavvy has really taken my game to the next level! All I need now is that the turn and river falls my way and I’ll break that 3K-border in a snap.

I’ve collected a small sample of hands from the last days action:

The following three hands happened within 5 minutes at the same table!

The importance of continuation-bets - you also do it when you hit the flop:

Back-to-back AA Baby:

What comes around goes around:

Just to show how fishie some of the players are at Carbon Poker:

And now you dont have to read any further if you like me hate bad beat stories!

Don’t think this guy ever gets called unless he’s beat:

TT is just a strong hand:)

Don’t really know what this guys plan was, but he succeded:

If you made it this far, you deserve to see some succes (again - the importance of C-betting):

First of, I relly enjoy reading about your project and the progress you are making!
I have just made the deal with carbon through rakebackmypoker as you did and I’m looking forward to seeing my first rakeback :) Is it every month it gets updated and paid out?
How much did you get for february and how many hours are you playing this “game of gods” (or game of luck and luck only if you ask our stupid court-system).
I haven’t seen you on the tables yet, but I can see that we play the same limits, so no doubt I will run in to you at some point :)
Anyways, great idea creating this blog and please keep updating!

    Hi Lars,

First of all: I’m glad to hear that you too got yourself a lucrative deal!

Second: I got around 500$ in rakeback in february.

Third: The rakeback is paid every day directly to your account and you can keep track of it in the “Player admin” section - It can’t be easier than that:)

ahh ok… when I go to my player admin section it’s empty… I will try to ask them…

Are you also having issues with their homepage?

Hmm I see that your BR is pretty close to expected BR :) Do you have a new strategy now ?

    Hi again Lars,

    still doing well?

I’m having NO problems what so ever, but let me know if the problem goes on - I’m sure they we able to fix it!

Hey hey, yes I’m going strong :) - nothing like you, but still..

I found the rakeback amount in the “cashier” tab in the poker software under history, but still I can’t connect to my “player admin”. I get a time-out both in IE and firefox AND at work :/

And now when I try to join the 2k freeroll, it says that I have earned 0 comp points, eventhough I’ve made quite a few :)

when I click the “support” I get a timeout aswell… Hmm I will look for an adress to mail them a few questions.

    take care

ahh yes, 1 more question: do you know what withdrawelmethod is the best for us in DK ?

You could also try the contact at rakebackmypoker.com - he use to be able to do magic when I’m having problems:)

Regarding the withdrawal-thing, I think Moneybookers and Neteller are most common.

  • March 10, 2008 19:41 Lars1980

ok, it’s working again now.. I mailed them and they said they had some issues atm…

Ok I will try neteller, I think.. (if I have any money left after 2night ;) )
