In order to try and keep up with the FL-GIGA-RAKERS at NOIQ poker, I’ve played a lot more poker than usual. Until yesterday it has resulted in a 2000$ loss (my little flirt with Fixed Limit cost me the first 1000$:-) But yesterday it was as if Miss Fortune held her beautiful little hand (very) close over my head and no matter what I did (at the pokertables that is) I came out on top! I’ve tried to reevaluate my day at work but as far as I remember I didn’t do any extraordinary good deeds. Well all in all it resulted in a massive profit, which by far was the best yet in the within1000days-project:

PS. Yes I’ve actually managed to get Poker Tracker running, in which I have great expectations! More on this subject at some other time:)
/Back to the race
Come join me at NOIQ poker and join the crazy rake races in there - I know, I’ve already fallen for them:-)

Nice BB/100! Noticing you have approx. $14500 in your BR and you’re still playing 2/4 NL isn’t it big enough to start taking shots at 3/6 NL or 4/8? Your BB/100 will prob. go down a bit, but your BB/100 (even if only over 5000 hands) shows you are crushing the 2/4s. Just be prpared to go down in level if you drop to much…
May the flop be with you.
HI Jørgen,
as the stats indicated I was running crazy good. In order to try and win the rake race I played 9 tables which resulted in very bad play and a lot of lost money so I think I’ll have to stick around at 2/4 a little longer:)
Still… You’ve got 36 BI’s at 2/4 NL and 24 BI’s at 3/6 NL.(18 at 4/8) Try using 1-2 BI’s on 3/6 NL just 1 to 2 tabling max to get a good feel of the game at that level. Not going up in level is just as wrong as not going down BRM-wise IMO, because you won’t find out if the level is the same. If the level of play is the same (or close!) you’re losing money NOT playing at a higher level IF you can afford it!
