Within1000days…
…I’m a poker millionaire – and that’s a promise! No I’m not recently released from the mental I just simply believe that everybody can become a winning online poker player and I’m here to prove it!
The facts (which will be expanded as the project moves on)
- Male
- Born 8th March 1982, making me 26 years at the moment
- Resident in a smaller flat in a smaller city called Aalborg
- Online nickname: variations on the nickname “diedamm”
About myself and my so called poker career
I’ve been playing poker online on and off for about 2 years now with switching luck. Have you met me at the tables it might have been at tables from $.25/.50NL to $5/10NL probably under the nick “diedamm”. The story is classic as poker itself - winning from Monday to Friday just to move up and piss it all away:) Told it was classic and maybe a bit boring:) But thats all over now. my last 1000$ are to be protected with some proper bankroll management while I improve my skills on my way to the stars.
A lot of poker players think of them selves as uniquely gifted with the ability to “see in to their opponents souls” or even a stomack that always tells them the right move at the right time - I do NOT believe that you need (or even want:-) this somewhat speciel gift!
This journey that will prove that every average Joe can start from scratch and earn a good living by playing poker online.
Why we will succeed
Actually this site and the community around it plays a big part in the project of becoming pokermillionaire in just 1000 days. I think many online poker players’, myself included, biggest problem in becomming REAL winners is lack of discipline - disciplin to NOT go and take a shot at tables we can’t afford, just because “I might get lucky”, discipline to let that KJ go UTG, because it’s just not a winning spot in the long run, discipline to lay down KK when you know that the Guppy sucked out on you for the fifth time.
I am convinced that the fact, that a lot of people will be judging my every move (that is only at the poker tables, hopefully:-), will force me to keep my disciplin. Great thing is: You can join in on this unique journey - Participate by commenting and post your username, bankroll etc. and you too will feel the discipline comming back to your game, which might have gotten a little sloppy too.
Welcome on board!
